Ariel Eva Tuadraq Atauchaq Tweto was her name when she was given it upon her birth. Alya is the only sibling. The parents of her met while her father was working located in Alaska as a professional hockey player trying to get people interested in the game. He dated and fell in love with her mother, and they later went into aviation in Era Alaska. Ariel and Alya grew up at Nome Census Alaska, where she went to Emerson College and then graduated in communication from Chapman University in Southern California. Ariel was able to begin her career as an actor at quite young age. This was when she appeared on the TV show Wipeout. Ariel became famous for one episode, in which she asked about an article she was unable to see, and yet appeared to be right there. Audiences' interest in this girl's story led producers to inquire with the Tweto family with the idea of the reality show about their lives in the Alaskan wilderness. The father Jim is skeptical but gives the go ahead for cameras to be filmed in his place of work. Era Alaska is still run by him as a bush pilot. Flying Wild Alaska, a reality show which airs on Discovery Channel, was a great success due to that the Twetos struggle with running their business aviation. The challenge of living within the same environment as that of the Wild West of early times is fascinating to a lot of Americans. The struggle between humans and sometimes cruel nature makes fans celebrate together with the Twetos in their triumphs and sympathize with them in their losses. Jim as the pilot of the bush and Ferno at the ground are always busy. Ariel enjoys a positive attitude when it comes to all this. Ariel's father Jim and mother Ferno both are pilots so it's only natural for Ariel to have an interest in flying from an early age. Flying Alaska's 2011-2012 season follows Ariel through her journey to become pilot. Ariel eventually gets her pilot's license in the month of April of 2012. Following the retirement of her father, Ariel is now in charge of the flying company run by her family. Alaskans feel a lot of concern over the seven-fold rise in suicide among adolescents. The solution for Ariel was co-founding the charity named Popping Bubbles in which she goes around schools and other youth forums talking to youngsters about why they should have an interest in life and achieve their goals instead of falling into depression.
