Sheryl Underwood, she is an American comedy and television star best known as the hosts the talk show The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. Born in Arkansas she grew up in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from a troubled family. Sheryl was a part of her life caring for her sister Frankie as she was a victim of polio. When she was growing up, Sheryl faced many difficulties with her mom. Sheryl asserts that in one instance her mother stabbed her father because he was becoming too close to her. When she graduated from college Sheryl joined the military. Sheryl's love of comedy was greater. The only woman who made it to the 1989 competition Miller Lite Comedy Search. Her TV career started in 1992 when she appeared on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She was the host of the TV show Oh Drama! in 2000. Then in 2011, she started appearing as a co-host on The Talk as co-host. She has played in fictional series like Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
