Sheryl Underwood, an American television host, comedian and actress famous for hosting The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. Sheryl was born and raised in Little Rock. Sheryl has an extended family with a lot of problems. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered with her own illness called Polio. As a teenager, she had many problems with her mother. Sheryl states that in the past, her mother would stab her father for being too close with her. Sheryl joined the military following her graduation from college. Her interest was in comedy. She became the first female finalist in the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career began in 1992 when she was a guest actor on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the show in 2000. the show Oh Drama! The show has also featured her as a host on The Talk since 2011. She's also appeared in fictional shows such as Bulworth Niki as well as Beauty Shop.
