Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian actress and model. The first time she was known, she was Pepper Steiger in Australia. This role she played during the 100 episodes of soap opera Neighbors that aired between 2006 and 2007 helped make her an international sensation in Australia. Her first project to be a part of Hollywood was a comedy based on choral singing Hollywood & Wine that she appeared in, where she played a young actress who is newly arrived in Hollywood. She was then offered a role in the ninth season of Scrubs in the role of Maya the very hot medical student. However, suddenly the series is canceled. The next couple of years, the actress will remain involved in an episode of the Farrelly brothers' comedic Good for filming, starring Jason Sudeikis Owen Wilson. The year 2013 brought more exposure: She appeared in six episodes of Franklin and Bash and landed her first ever regular part on the show, Chosen. Milo Ventimiglia played the role of lead. The show also features her as Chad Michael Murray's reply in the first and the second seasons. Then she played a supporting role in two feature films that focused on planes.
